Beth Bauer grew up an Army brat. Though she has lived in several places,
most of her life has been spent in North Carolina and Georgia. Dr. Bauer
spent her youth pursuing her love of animals - she competed with her dog
in obedience and Junior Showmanship competitions and with her horse in
Hunter/Jumper shows. The natural progression led to the University of
Georgia where she graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in
1995. Dr. Bauer enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and
especially enjoys meeting her patients' families. She also focuses on
behavior, reproduction, and soft tissue/reconstructive surgery.
When not working, Dr. Bauer can be found showing her Dalmatians (with
the support of her mother and son) or doting on her husband, Peter, and
their son, Matthew. She and her family live in Raleigh
with their Dalmatians, Austin (a champion who also has an Obedience
title), Lucy (a soon-to-be Champion), their misguided Doberman, Ashley,
and their cat, Annie.

Jennifer Suter was raised in southern California and attended the University of California-Davis. She achieved her bachelor’s degree in Evolution and Ecology in 1998 with big plans of becoming a zookeeper. It was while working as a zookeeper, caring for ill and injured zoo animals, that Dr. Suter discovered her true passion –veterinary medicine. She graduated in 2004 in the top of her class from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine and was inducted into the Phi Zeta Society, Lambda Chapter, National Veterinary Honor Society. Dr. Suter has a genuine enthusiasm for all aspects of veterinary medicine but particularly enjoys internal and geriatric medicine, dermatology, oncology, and surgery.
Jennifer’s husband, Steve Suter, is also a veterinarian. His faculty appointment at the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine is what brought the couple to the Raleigh area. In their free-time, the Drs. Suter are enjoying getting to know North Carolina with their Boxer dog, Alamo, and their fun-loving Pit Bull, Curbside. The couple also enjoys gardening, cooking, hiking, and hockey.
